Music Cats Love: While You Are Gone

I have 3 cats. One, Phoenix, loves to listen to music, watches TV, and has his own DVD collection. If he wants to watch a DVD he sits on the prtable machine. I try to leave a DVD on in the livingroom when I am at work, and the CD playing in the far bedroom for him to listen to. He lays on the bed and waits in the mornings for me to turn it on. This is his favorite now. :)

Not caring that everyone in my family thinks I am a crazy cat lady, I ordered this cd for my two cats. I work long hours and they responded to the DVD I bought them, so I thought they may enjoy this. My calico cat loves it. If I turn it on she goes straight to the tv. My black and white cat isn't that intrigued by it, but will follow the calico so it at least keeps him occupied while I am trying to go out the door. I give the cd five stars because it is the best one I have come across. I think my calico would agree.

Was really happy with this CD. Works much better than the radio or TV. The music is BEAUTIFUL and love the way the nature sounds and stories come in and out. I think my cats enjoy hearing the voices within the music.

This is the MOST excruciatingly, hideously boring music I have ever heard.

My CATS-- whom it is for--

LOVE IT!!!

We bought it for my 17 year old Siamese to calm her at night. Put it on random repeat and went to bed.

When I came into the living room the next morning all FOUR of my guys were happily asleep. THEY seem to really enjoy it.

So by all means buy it.

Just make SURE you are gone while it plays.

This is a great CD. At first when I played it my cat didn't like the spoken voices. But now if he is running around when I am trying to go to sleep, I put the CD on and he gets on the bed and goes to sleep! It puts me to sleep too! I think I have only made it through about 3 songs!

This CD is the prrrfect companion for my kitties while I am at work. They like it and its fun to watch them try to find the cats or the birds they hear in the background. The music is just adorable, You will love it too

I didnt have very high expectations when I first bought this CD but dang it really works! I have VERY fussy cats and they seem to love this CD when I play it. Try it, you wont be dissappointed. A+

Our cat Koshka responded immediately to the nature sounds (birds) on the disc and we really think he looks forward to hearing the music - as it's become familiar to him while we are gone, and he then is comforted by the routine (and that means we will be back!)
Love it!

I just love this C.D. just as much as I love cats! The music is so calming and relaxing. The sounds of the cats, exotic birds, soft nature, playful children, voices, and short stories are so soothing. Even the titles are beautiful. My favorite songs are "Purrfect Mood", "String Dance", and "Furry Flurry". Bradley Joseph is so talented for his music and songwriting and story, and Helen Peightal is so talented for her voice and short stories.
Me and my family feel this C.D. is good to listen to in the car (as well as in the home) to keep our cat calm so that being in the pet carrier isn't too stressful for her. I also feel that she finds the music calming. We also play the C.D. in loving memory of all our other cats who have gone to heaven.
This C.D. is definitely a great collection of peaceful music for cats.

As someone who has an over 18 yo (DSH) furbaby, surviving the passing of her sister over 2 yrs ago, music has been especially important-for her and her Mom. This CD is exceptionally comforting, having other such cds. I would highly recommend it to both 4 and 2 legged .
