The Music of Chance offers anyone who likes Jazz an excellent opportunity to enter into the world of Paul Auster, and vice versa. The quintet assembled by Jeff Gardner deliver the ultimate soundtrack to novels such as Moon Palace, The New York Trilogy and of course the Music of Chance. Music like the city of New York one might say, with universal appeal. (Somewhat reminiscent of Wayne Shorter's mid-1960's albums)
