A must-have for any Irish Concertina fan, August 13, 2001

I've heard Noel Hill play the Bucks of Oranmore a number of times now, but the version he plays on this CD (solo) is still the most spectacular I've ever heard and the recording is worth purchasing just for this single track. Mind you, you'll also get a number of other amazing tracks featuring superb Irish (anglo) concertina and button-accordion playing accompanied by excellent dancing. Noel's set of reels The Rainy Day, The Merry Blacksmith and The Silver Spear will also make you stop in your tracks and listen in awe. This recording is not to be missed if you're a fan of energetic and passionate traditional Irish music!
