Very sexy, very smooth... My parents uses to listen to this music when I was growing up, thus it was also very nostalgic for me.

Lounge-y blues and a good mix of "she done me wrong" songs that will bring you back to when the 33 1/3 LP was spinning on the old phonograph. Grab a Tom Collins, slip on your chenille socks, take the easy chair and relax and remember that old flame.

What a wonderful CD. I found this CD buried in the online catalog of a Mail-Order CD merchant and what a find it is. There are a few names you'll recognize (Johnny Mathis, Judy Garland) and a song or 2 you'll know ('Chances Are'), but most of the selections on this CD are new to most of us. And what a world it opens up! These artists are great...excellent representations of 50's and 60's pop music. Check out track 9 ('The Man I Love') and track 11 ('I Had Someone Else...") for rare gems that shouldn't have remained buried for so long. My only gripe is that there aren't anymore in this series.
