intence punk garage grunge from the legendary minniapolus noise trio. halo of flies was one of kurt cobain's favorite bands and you can tell. nirvana and halo of flies sound a lot alike. the song arrangements are a little bit differant than most grunge music. halo of flies were never as popular as some of there comtemperaries. but they show heavy influence and have done work with other genre favorites like mudhoney and melvins. they were also the leaders of the influencial amphetimene reptile record label. great stuff. get HALO OF FLIES!!!

You gotta want grunge...,

If you remember the reptile amphibian label, were a member of the sub-pop singles club when tad and fluid were the main bands. Or even loved a song like dickless' 'saddle tramp' this album is for you. True grunge. Like hearing the roar of a good motor halo of flies is the best of all grunge records I have heard.
