thought there was more songs from the girl on the cover! Cute though..kids like it.

We bought this for our 8 yr old for Christmas, as she is now into music, and loves the iCarly show. Well, interestingly enough my husband and I now listen to this CD too! It is really good. Miranda is such a sweet girl and sings really well. The other songs that are on the CD are also good too! Great CD for all! ;)

My soon to be 9 year old daughter loves this CD. She listens to it all the time. The best part is that I don't have iCarly blaring on the TV (too much yelling for my taste). It's a nice extra for fans of the show.

I got this cd for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. And it's a cd that doesn't drive me crazy, hearing it over and over again (like some other pre-teen music out there). Miranda Cosgrove seems to be a decent role model for kids, at least from what I have heard and seen so far. Her show, iCarly seems to be okay, nothing too "adult" or racy in subject matter, and good, silly fun that kids love (and adults can enjoy too, actually). And her music is decent as well. So far all things iCarly and Miranda Cosgrove have been big hits for my daughter, and with me for parent's approval as well.

Bought this download for my 6 year old daughter.She LOVES it.Tons of poppy music and little voice pieces between the songs from the characters of the show.Telling little jokes or whatever.Sounds good,she enjoys it especially when her friends come over.They get crazy and start dancing all over and jumping on the bed! Recommended.

This was a gift so I haven't listened to it but the 9 year old who received it loves it. Quick delivery, too.

Miranda Cosgrove is on the cover--but she sings only four songs on this CD, half of which are adult pop/rock hits that seems out of place on an album from a children's TV show.

Miranda's cuts are great--there just needs to be more of her! Her "Stay My Baby" is a great pop tune that can be listened to over and over.

There's also a Naked Brothers Band song--but fully half of the 14 cuts on this are from artists that some parents are going to question whether they are appropriate for their kids.

In between the songs is banter from the show's cast members--some of it is innocent but one or two are in poor taste (World's Fattest Priest?).

It certainly reflects Nickelodeon's style--so if you are really into that type of sarcasm and adult-themed music directed to children, then this would be a good CD for you. But there aren't enough choices if you want to hear Miranda Cosgrove sing songs appropriate to her age group.

I got this cd for my son, but I think it's a bit too old for him. I've put the age appropriate songs for him on his ipod and kept the rest for myself.

Carly's songs (Miranda Cosgrove) are great and she's got a lovely voice. The theme song is inspiring and positive, my son plays it constantly, which is fine by me. The rest of her songs are about boys and relationships. They're harmless as far as I'm concerned and have good beats.

The dialog between songs is pulled directly from the show. It's got 'Sam's sassy humor and love of meats and violence, and Carly's innocence and go getter attitude. There are a few songs dedicated to 'Freddie's obsession with 'Carly' and how at some point they'll just be strangers (or maybe I'm reading too much into it:)

"Freckles" is a nice song about appreciating yourself and for those of you who loved FOOTLOOSE like I did, there's a great rendition of "Let's Hear it for the Boy." Lil' Mama and Avril Lavine do an upbeat "Girlfriend" about how they hate a boy's girlfriend and that they'd be much better to date. It's cute, but I could see how it's a bit much for little girls.

Overall, I really like the album. It's quality and fun with several catchy tunes. I'm sure my son will like it more as he gets older. I'm looking forward to a complete Miranda Cosgrove album.

this cd made me laugh, and I realy enjoyed it, but they should have put more well known artists like usher or something, instead of some of thetuf they put on there. but mostly, great cd!
