5.0 out of 5 stars Rave reviews for this wonderful music
A friend of mine brought me this disc from Israel and I haven't taken it out of the CD player since! This has nothing to do with your taste in music, your religion or beliefs - these special melodies talk directly to your soul and you feel completely transformed every time you hear it. I especially recommend it for people like me who treat people - whether it's...

I expected this music to be played on traditional instruments. It didn't say it was, it didn't say it wasn't. Just an assumption on my part. I expected this music to be played on traditional instruments. It didn't say it was, it didn't say it wasn't. Just an assumption on my part. Two of the three discs are synthesized versions of kabbalistic music without words. Traditionally they would have had words to them. The third disc is a re-mastered version of a kabbalistic master chanting the music, so you can hear what the originals actually sounded like, which is very different than the first two discs. The synthesized versions sound to me a lot like new age massage music. So it is nice for babies as other reviewers mentioned or maybe massage, etc. I'm not sure how far it is from the actual kabbalistic music as I am no expert. -Lucy

These melodies rip straight to the heart. By talking to your feelings these songs prove their authenticity. Who better to compose them than the greatest Kabbalist of the 20th century Yehuda Ashlag the Baal HaSulam.

Rabbi Ashlag, one of the greatest Kabbalists is able to provide an amazing portrait of the depths of the spiritual and majestic inner worlds through this wondrous music.

One is truly able to identify with the many expressions of this penetrating music.

Each of the three CD's of this wonderful collection provided me with a direct connection to the spiritual realm. I am delighted that the very kept secrets of the Kabbalah are opened in a way that makes them tangible to each and every person who listens.

1.0 out of 5 stars Spiritualy inspiring, February 24, 2003

Every time I want to experience the upper worlds while meditating, I play Baal Hasulam. Words cannot describe the journey these beautifully orchestrated masterpiece take me!

UPDATE: I wrote this review 9 years ago. I regret if anyone took my review as a reason to buy this book and worst, get involved with Bnei Baruch and Michael Laitman. I urge anyone that is thinking of studying Kabbalah to think twice before studying at kabbalah.info I also urge you to do a thorough search about Bnei Baruch and see what other people are saying about them. The word "Cult" comes to mind. They will say all the right things to suck you into their organization. Some of the things they say are what got me to study there, for example; they teach about "absolute altruism" and that humanity must unite together for mutual benefit. They talk about "love your friend as you would love yourself" and other things that ring truth. I still believe that these things are true, but the problem starts when they tell you things like "Women are evil and destroy while men build", that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God and that the only way to achieve true spirituality is to stop being homosexual and that you must marry and if you are a man, you must marry a women, and a women must marry a man. Also, they will tell you at first that everything is free, and that is true. BUT they will also later tell you that you cannot ascend spiritually if you do not give 10 % of all you have to them.
Here is a link to a forum discussing these issues and at the very bottom is links showing Michael Laitman stating these very things I just mentioned.

In closing, I would like to offer my humble advice; God is within us all and no man can brings us to him. Only you can seek God and find him, he is with you now. I'm 49 now, and what I've learned from years of searching for the answers we all have within us is this; you need not search far and wide, for God is truly within you and he will give you all the answers you seek. God only wants one thing, for everyone to love each other. Love your neighbor and try to be as altruistic as you can. Getting there is the true meaning of life, and you don't need any church to get there.
If anyone tells you that the only way to God is through their beliefs, run away from them. God loves you no matter what color you are, where you are from, or what you have or what you believ.
God is Love, Love is God
