25 l Andrews Sisters treasures, July 7, 2005
This review is from: Music Lessons With (Audio CD)
Just when you think all the Andrews Sisters recordings have been released, comes along this CD with long out of print songs with duets by Dan Dailey, Alfred Apaka, Red Foley, Dick Haymes, etc. Nicely packaged and the sound is great.

From the Latter Decca Years, January 2, 2004
This review is from: Music Lessons With (Audio CD)
This is a must-have collection for Andrews Sisters collectors. It contains later Decca recordings (post World War II-1952) that have not been present on more recent CD compilations and may not have seen the light of day since their original pressing. There are many delights including "The Telephone Song" and "Some Sunny Day". In addition, there are four Patty Andrews solos - "I'll Walk Alone", "Our Love is Here to Stay", "It's All Over But the Memories" and "That's the Chance You Take." Also included are four Patty duets - "Unless You're Free" and "Baby Blues" with Red Foley and "If I Were a Bell" with Bing Crosby and "I Ought to Know More About You" with Dick Haymes.
