Wow,..... It's been a little while since Beres' last full blown release but now we know what he has been doing with his time. He just released possibly the best CD I own to date. Song after song it is a CD for anyone or anything. Beres has always been known for his classy, romantic love songs and his uplifting songs that help you get through the rough times. He has all of that and more on this new one. Every song on this one will be a hit as a few already have. Anyone who reads this and even thinks about buying it,......do yourself a favor and buy it. Give this one a chance, you won't be disapointed.

There is not a whole lot to say about this album..
Beres to the fullest..This album is a must have..Big riddim with Big lyrics..You'll never skip a track. This CD is that great..

If you are reggae fan, you have to have this cd...If you are new to reggae and you are looking for a reggae cd this is it, you won't be disappointed.

Beres keep up your genius work and may Jah give ye the strength and faith to continue the good work.

Beres Hammond is truly an artist. His smooth voice makes you feel like he's actually there singing to you. I had the opportunity to go to one of his concert's and it was the best concert I've ever been to. I listen to his CD's so much, my daughter (6 yrs) is actually now a Beres fan. Hers and my favorite song (on this cd) is Rockaway. Words cant explain how you'll feel after hearing his music. I recommend this and any or all of his CD's you wont be disappointed.

this is the best reggae cd for the year 2001 thus far any music lover will agree with me.this is his best cd so far,i am waiting to see if he can top this.beres fan or not you will enjoy this cd. very soon his name will me mentioned among the greats like bob marley and dennis brown.

I have always been a huge Beres Hammond fan, he truely is the best. This is a very impressive cd. It becomes more and more enjoyable the more you listen to it. I have to behonest i was actually expecting alot more from him since to me he is the "Phil Collins at his best of reagge". Beres has a truely unique incredible voice and it never seem to age either. I was expecting this cd to be as good as his "putting up a resistance" cd but it came a little short. This able is far more diverse the all the other ablums and obviously Beres uses more modern beats but all in all it still was one of the best ablums to come out.

Beres is the greatest. I must say I haven't heard a CD by Beres that was not A-1 quality. The Music is Life CD has lyrics that compliment and reflect on the lives of all of us today. The love songs Beres gives you will soothe and maybe help mend your heart and soul. The salsa beat he gives us on "Dance for Me" will have you dancing all night. I recently attended a Beres concert in St. Louis, Mo and I cried because I honestly couldn't belive I was actully seeing the man I love (as an artist) perform songs that I had fell in love with years ago. He even filled a request for me to sing "Come Again" off the "Getting Stronger" CD. I highly recommend any and every CD by Beres Hammond. The man will become your friend through his music. Like the great man said MUSIC IS LIFE. He certainly didn't lie about that.

Beres, you're Grammy bound. Being the "Beres Fan" I am, I can only say keep up the good work. Your music is so calming, yet so refreshing, my CD player is foever loaded with your cds. Jah Guide.

Once again the Maestro of Reggae music has delivered an outstanding album. How can one man be so prolific..How does he do it? The album is laced with some of the wickedest rockers beats and lyrics. If you don't have this one in your collection, you're making a mistake. Get it!

I like the cool sounds of Beres. He is great and on this album hit after hit is great. I tend to repeat the songs every time I listen to it. I must say, it is very hard to remove this CD once you place it in your player.
