Huge, 522 page music appreciation manual,

This review is from: Music: A Living Language (Paperback)
This 1982 music appreciation manual includes a vinyl record, but is not necessary to appreciate the text. Most examples could probably be found online. The book covers all sorts of musical terms, styles and time periods. It can be used as a reference or an instructional manual. This is a classic, must-have textbook for music educators.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Music: A Living Language (Paperback)
I purchased this used from one of Amazon's sellers. The book comes with an LP which is worthless to me because I no longer have a turntable. I believe the seller should have included this information under "condition".
