I had the Music Machine album when I was a kid and it's great to hear the originals again. I had forgotten many of the great songs on here. My daughters like the other CD too. I have two gripes 1. they switched the labels on the CDs so that the music machine label is on the wrong CD (not a big deal, but a little confusing.) 2. My original album came with pages full of colorful pictures and the lyrics. I really enjoyed looking at them and I'm disappointed that this CD came with nothing at all-especially since I'm unfamiliar with the first CD and would like to have something for my girls to follow. For those of you unfamiliar with the music, it's a little heavy on the 70s sound, but overall holds up to repeated listenings. The songs teach christian values like love, patience, kindness, understanding, etc with easy to remember lyrics and catchy tunes. Each album follows a story line too. We have not yet looked at the DVD that was included.

These were on cassette when I was growing up & belonged to my sister. For some reason Music Machine II (as the cassette was called then) has ended up being CD 1. Maybe that is the one that is the most popular. It was certainly our favourite & got listened to the most. However you may want to listen to CD 2 first as that is where they meet Mr. Conductor & the Music Machine.

CD 1 - Our favourite. Stevie & Nancy are back in Agapeland & learn through songs all about love. The theme of this CD is 1 Corinthians 13. Very good, catchy lyrics as well as contemplative songs teaching about God & His love.
CD 2 - Stevie & Nancy arrive in Agapeland, meeting Mr. Conductor & the Music Machine. Very good, catchy lyrics as well as contemplative songs teaching about the Fruits of the Spirit.
Bonus DVD - Only seen when I bought this set. 4 very good, simple character building stories about obedience, self-control, goodness & faith. Very nicely animated & narrated.

Very fast shipment and great buy... I love it and it just reminded me when I first listen to Music Machine about hmmm... 20 years or so... we are using for Children's Ministry... Thanks for selling this here...

It's hokey, but it's exactly as I remembered, and the messages are still great. I had the lp when I was young which came with a huge full color book with the words. Unfortunately, in this new CD version, there is no booklet insert with the printed words.

fun music for kids. good clean lyric. the dvd is very simple drawings that barely move. like the first mickey mouse movies.

I used this with my Kindergarten class. I especially like the character traits that are depicted in the DVD. The children enjoyed chatting about them when it was over. I presented this with my choir many years ago as a musical and loved the music. It was great to hear the music after all those years.

This Music Machine CD is worth getting for your kids. I used it in Sunday Preschool years ago and the kids loved it and now my grown children wanted it for their children. When I played it again after all those years- it put a smile on my face and brightened my whole self. It has beautiful music on it. Enjoy!

I think the CD's in this album were switched (i.e. - CD 2 should be CD 1). Other than that, I have no complaints! It's good to have music that is sweet and also teaches love and kindness.
