Awsome 80's revival!!, January 15, 2005
This review is from: Music Machine (Audio CD)
This album has redeemed my faith in new music! If you enjoy 80's genre then you will surely enjoy this album. The song "Electric" could have easily been a hit in the 80's.
Each song has a chrous that is right up there with Pulp's "Different Classes" album. Also has some simliarities to Suede in many ways.
I don't think this album will dissapoint you!

Another very good pop album from Melody Club - still a guilty pleasure, but pop fans will love it! - 4.5 stars, May 14, 2005
This review is from: Music Machine (Audio CD)
I'm not usually one to enjoy "pop" music, but these Swedes really know how to make catchy songs! First thing to know about this album, it's a VERY guilty pleasure - most of this is due to the singer's voice who doesn't even attempt to sound universally appealing. It's definitely not hard to stand him, though. Also, practically every track on this album could be a pop music hit since every song is incredibly catchy and memorable new-wavish pop rock. Songs like "Covergirl", "Stranded Love", and "Electric" are all so good you wonder why these guys are only popular in Sweden (and parts of Europe)! Both this and their new album, "Face the Music", are VERY worthy purchases if you are a pop music fan (be warned, however, that it IS extremely poppy).
Highlights include:
"Covergirl"
"Stranded Love"
"Play Me In Stereo"
"Let's Kill The Clockwork"
"Put Your Arms Around Me"
"Electric"
"Colours"
"Angeleyes"
