First, you see it - distinctive and unique with great balance and harmony in its design.

Then you feel it - very well balanced, finely crafted instrument.

Then you hear it - like nothing you've experienced. 18v output will definitely not disappoint you. Extremely versatile full-body tone to die for.

Then you feel it - AGAIN! The Bongo offers endless chest-thumping bass that defies being buried in the mix.

If you are serious about playing bass you should seriously consider a Bongo!

If you don't like the way it looks, then your eyes are screwing you out of the ultimate bass experience for under the price of a new car.

Light, balanced, ergonomic, excellent construction all around, and a YUGE range of tones, from the slappy bit of a Stingray to mellow jazz and beyond. The 3/1 layout of the tuners is not just for looks; it creates ideal tension on the strings. I can't say enough about how much I live this bass. The only drawback I have found after 6 months of playing is that it requires 2 9v batteries, but they last a long time, even if you play often.

Had the wanna's for a beautiful Fender Deluxe American Jazz bass with Quilted Maple top and noiseless pickups until I tried this bass. Wonderful balance, great feel on neck and the tone is phat phat phat...can go from funk low to semi upright acoustic bass, to metal slap in seconds with a four band equalizer. Very strong output, you'll have no problem being heard. HIGHLY recommended, this bass is quickly achieving legendary cult status amongst bassists. Do yourself a favor and just try it.
