I dont know what the other geezer that reviewed this was on about. Load of nonsense if you ask me.
I came across A-Bones purely by chance when I found out they had done an entire CD of covers by one of my favourite artists. This particular CD is not that one - its a quality mixture of covers and (really good) originals. If you havent heard them think of the Cramps (not visually, but muscially) and it'll give you a good idea (although the lyrics are more straightforward and less way out). As well as that, theres clearly a big 60s pacific northwest influence going on here. If you like a bit of trash garage punk this CD is recommended without reservation

The work prgresses well in a fashion only to be expected by the great musical workers on the minus five...there are a great many layers of musical craftsmanship on this record that shows how vital the minus five are to the modern rock landscape
