Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Boots Randolph is a modern day legend in music. As a tenor saxophonist he's appeared with every major Nashville artist of the past 40 years. Artists such as Elvis, Roy Orbison, Chet Atkins, Buddy Holly, Floyd Cramer, Alabama, Johnny Cash-the list is almost endless. He does more than just play the saxophone. More than just pop out music notes. His sax sounds like it can sing, can talk, can almost speak to deaf ears. His ability is awesome. His versatile style has no equal! Boots is here presenting a program of Nashville Classics with a rhythm section, first playing each piece, and then stepping aside for the at-home player to take the solo role. Song Listing: Crazy, You Don't Know Me, Good Hearted Woman, Night life Near You, Green, Green Grass Of Home, Busted, Java, Nint To Five, Last Date, Pretty Woman

5.0 out of 5 stars Play Aong With The Man!, February 6, 2008
By Hunker Down "Avid Reader" (Mendocino, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Boots Randolph was the best, no doubt about that. This book has a play along CD. When you finish with it, you'll be playing Yakkity Sax right along with Boots and everyone will think you're great. A fun book, especialy if you like to play country music on your sax. He's got music sheets in here with CD background music for both the alto and the tenor sax. Great effort. Love it.
