I got this for my husband who is about to deploy to iraq. He has it for his ipod classic, digital camera, and camcorder. It is perfect because he is not taking a laptop with him and it charges everything the computer would, very pleased that it is compatible with everything we wanted.

PowerLine Response,
By PowerLine (Georgia, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Music Power 0900-70 Solo USB AC Charger (Lawn & Patio)
The PowerLine musicPower Solo USB adapter provides a standard 5V at 500ma output. This is the standard for "hi-power" USB ports as established by the USB 2.0 specifications.
The fact that it will not power one reviewer's USB hard drive is due to the fact that the hard drive does not adhere to USB standards and draws far more power than a standard USB port will deliver. Most devices that require more than the standard amount of power will generally come with their own specialized power adapter. The musicPower Solo also will not power Creative Zen players or Motorola Razr phones but it is because both these companies have chosen to use "non-standard" USB power configurations in their devices. This forces the consumer to use only those companies' proprietary chargers. PowerLine provides a toll-free consumer hotline so that customers can call regarding usage, compatibility and general concerns.

Good deal.,

This thing works, is only 4$ at the time of this review, and is sold by Amazon so you can get free shipping (2-day with Prime). Nice.
The metal plug is on a hinge so the charger is only a half inch deep when stored. The plug is positioned such that it only takes up only one plug from a wall outlet. However, it will block neighboring slots on a typical power strip. It doesn't have a charging indicator light.

The product worked great. It charged all my electronics, including my zune. Which people seem to have trouble charging with non-proprietary wall chargers. So great buy.

Ever since I bought this charger, I have yet to stop using it! It was just so convenient anywhere and works as well as an Apple Ipod charger, except this is more affordable.

I have twice purchased this product to charge our family's MP3 players (primarily iPod Nano and Touch). We now have plenty to allow every person in the family to charge their devices without contention. The product is plastic and feels a bit cheap, but it hasn't failed us. I was hesitant to use something so inexpensive on our devices, but we have never had a problem.

Perfect charger, works with my Zune 4GB,

I almost paid $30 for the "Zune" charger, but I'm glad I didn't rush my buying decision. Researched a bit and came across this charger with great reviews.
It's slim enough to fit behind my headboard and perfectly charges my Zune. Heck, I even tried to charge my HTC phone that supports USB charging, and it worked! I wish my Nintendo DS supported USB charging, but oh well. I'm very satisfied.

I bought 1 of these to charge the mp3 player in our son's room. We loved it so much that we bought another one for our baby's room. We use it every other day and it charges our Sony mp3 players (33 hours and 45 hours) completely within 1.5-2 hours (that's from zero!). We love it's compact design...it doesn't stick out on the walll. Heck, it's barely noticeable! We like the fact that the plug is included, so there's no cords for kids to play with or trip over. It's inexpensive and does what it's suppoed to do!
