5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent CD for all JSRF fans. June 28, 2007
Been looking for those missing tracks from the Jet Set Radio Future Soundtrack? Well look no further, this CD contains a majority of the songs that appeared in the U.S version of the game. These tracks include-Ill Victory Beat by the Latch Brothers, I'm not a Model by Russel Simins, Me Likey the Poom Poom by the Latch Brothers, Birthday Cake by Cibo Matto, Latch Brother Bounce by the Latch Brothers, Count Latchula by the Latch Brothers, Aisle 10 by Scapegoat Wax, Koto Stomp by the Latch Brothers, Rockin The Mic by the Prunes, and What About the Future by Richard Jacques. A perfect CD to make up for those missing tracks and at a very fair price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing music! Among my favorites! February 15, 2012
Verified Purchase
This is the Sampler soundtrack YOU received when you preordered Jet Set Radio Future.

The limited supply is the reason it's expensive. But if you get it, you're in for a treat!

The music in this soundtrack is mostly from the underground and dark stages in JSRF. Mellow and Bouncy is two words that can describe it, but JSRF's music hardly fits into one genre.

For one thing, the tracks you find on this CD are the extended versions compared to the version on the game, which sadly is more common to find on the Internet if you download rather than purchase.

You miss out on key components on songs in the CD, mainly ones that have lyrics, if you try to pirate any of the JSRF soundtracks.

The music is staggering and exciting, while strange and ear-popping. I highly recommend you get this soundtrack if you love video game music like me.

And look up the lyrics for Birthday Cake. Once you do, you'll love the song. I hated the awkward sound of her singing, but now that I know the words, their hilarious.

Quote from the lyrics:
"I put pot in the birthday cake.
So what? So what? For my own sake!"
