5.0 out of 5 stars Great book to refer to. Has So much info packed into it!, November 15, 1999

This review is from: Music Technology Reference Book (Paperback)
Now this is a resource I refer to all the time. If you are a recording engineer, musician or music gear junkie, you'll enjoy this book. Need to quickly find that MIDI note number? It's in there. Need to find the fundamental frequency of an oboe? It's in there. Digital recording, analogue recording? It's in there. How many times does a hummingbird's wings beat per second? Well, ok that's not in there, but it gives you all the formulas you need to calculate delays, rhythms, mic distances. What's SMPTE, MMC, MTC, LTC, FSK? It's in there. And more! A must have in your library.
