I have three kids, and so I have bought a lot of lullaby CDs. This is the best! (I don't turn it off when they go to bed...) It makes a great shower gift, because you can suggest a mom-to-be play this for the baby at "bedtime" each night.

This CD was a baby shower gift and I've just bought a 2nd copy. Our baby is 6 months old and we have worn this CD out! We've played it every night since coming home from the hospital and baby loves it. He hears the first song, "Right Here and Right Now" and starts to calm down, then I put him in his crib and he sleeps soundly through the night. The songs are beautiful - moms and dads will enjoy it as well.

I am a "retired" teacher and one of my students bought this tape for me when I was expecting. After bringing my son home and quietly rocking him to sleep, I remembered the tape "Sleeping with the Fishes". I popped in the tape and hit play. My hornmones where completely out of wack and I sobbed like a baby (no pun intended!) But really, the song "Right Here Right Now" OOOOHHHH! But now he's 4 months old and I STILL cry when I hear that song! We play the tape so much that it is already worn out and now I am buying the CD! I give it an A++++!

My 2 year old loves this CD! She falls asleep to this CD better than any other "lullaby" CD she's heard. That in itself makes me very happy, but I also really enjoy listening to this CD. The tracts are all creative and varied. Each artist has clearly given their best. There's no "filler". Two other pluses for toddler bedtime music: all the tracks are calm (this sounds like a silly thing to say, but as my fellow parents know there are too many CD's out there with boisterous songs in the middle) and this CD is long-enough for the child to fall asleep to before it finishes. (How did Linda Ronstadt get away with putting only 20-some minutes of music on her lullaby CD??) OK... I guess I should also admit that I like the the title track so much I find myself humming it during the day-- very calming.

I picked this up in a bargain bin at a music store and it's the best! The songs are sweet and sentimental (for we moms) and sure do the trick to get my boy Carlo to sleep. As a matter of fact, it works so well that I've never heard the end of it!

The first time I heard the first song (Right Here, Right Now) was when I was giving the night time bottle to my grandson and rocking him to sleep in his bedroom. I was amazed at the words of the song. It made me reminised of the years when my three adult children were growing up. I asked my husband to listen to it and he said, "Nah, I can't understand the words. The only singer I can understand is Frank Sinatra!!". BUT, when I finally got him to listen to it, a few days afterwards, he was playing the song over and over, writing down the words to the song "Right Here, Right Now". By the way, we have two cute grandchildren! I bought two CDs of Sleeping with the Fishes, one for a baby gift and one for us, the grandparents!

Best lullaby CD I have ever heard! Great for those midnight nursings.

After having 3 kids, I was due some pampering. This CD made all those midnight nursings the best part of taking care of our infant.

We started playing music CDs for our daughter to sleep to when she was an infant, and went through many different ones. When she was about 2, we got this one, and no other CD has gone into the player since. One of the things we always had trouble with is after listening to a CD of baby songs through the baby monitor for a few weeks, we would get tired of it, but this has not happened with this particular CD. We have been listening to this CD EVERY night for the past 9 years, and I'm still not annoyed by it or tired of it. My daughter is now 11, and she still listens to it every night to get to sleep. It is an amazing CD. And yes, as another reviewer alread said, it makes me cry now and then when I really listen to the words. I HIGHLY recommend this cd!
