5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful French Baroque, November 21, 2009

This review is from: Music at the Court of Louis XIV (Audio CD)
I bought this CD because I wanted to become more familiar with French Baroque, since mostly I hear Italian and German. The music sounds lovely on period instruments and inspires me to explore these composers and other French composers more thoroughly. I thought the price ridiculously low for a Nicholas Harnoncourt CD. A great bargain for some splendid music.
