4.0 out of 5 stars decent music at a great price, January 31, 2001
By Sara Townsend "feedthe_kitty" (Tallahassee, Florida) - See all my reviews
I first decided to get this cd (and volume two) without having heard any of the tracks or reading reviews. I was worried that it would have birds tweeting and streams flowing in the background like all the other crappy meditation albums, but it doesn't. The unadultered classic adagios and largos are chosen for their sonorous beauty. No tweeting.

The performing groups are a little lesser known but the quality is almost as good as any major city symphony orchestra. This is relaxing music but not something that I would consider meditating to. This CD is great and easily worth the 3 dollars.
