Although instrumentation seems good, it is a pity that Savall hardly uses varied percussion. This is DANCE music. This makes me go back to the 1960s' Ulsamer's versions, full of imaginative contrasts and dynamism and enthusiasm

This is a delightful 2-disc collection of late Renaissance / early Baroque music. It makes for lovely background music, and is quite reasonable at $7. The performances are top notch.
