5.0 out of 5 stars hey Braky Wacky!, September 20, 1999
By A Customer
the first thing that has to be said is that this is NOT an album meant for just kids. any adult can hear the humor in this, especially my personal fave brak!

this album and its follow up (surf n turf) are comedy gems! i don't know how many times i've repeatedly played this cd over and over... my wife has even grown to love Brak! I nfact, "i love you baby" was played at my wedding for the cake cutting! And its not just the songs, sketches like "braks school daze" are hillariously unforgettable! as a fan of the show, i am SO looking foward to a 3rd release since it is so deep in material!

a must buy for any comedy fan!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Collection of Ridiculous Songs, August 27, 2003
By
Are you a fan of Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet? Get this CD. Do you love silly songs? Get this CD. Have you ever confessed your love to a baloney sandwich? Get this CD.

This is my personal favorite of the 3 Space Ghost CDs. It's jam packed with harmless, care free nonsense. Perfect for sing alongs in the car or just about any occassion.

5.0 out of 5 stars How could anyone NOT like this?, July 4, 2000
This is a hilarious album. I've played it for a lot of people and everyone has loved it. Not liked it, LOVED it! I mean, come on! It's got "Don't Touch Me," one of the funniest songs ever written. This would be the perfect thing to play to surprise a bride and groom for the first dance (bride and groom only) at their wedding reception. Try it. They'll be rolling in the isles. Or spraying punch out of their noses at the very least. But wait. That's not all. Not only are there 25 songs on this album, there are also 13 skits, which brings the total to 38 tracks of joy. This is one of the coolest CDs I own and am very proud to have it in my collection. Even if you've never heard of Space Ghost, Brak or Zorak, it doesn't matter. If you don't mind a little craziness, then this may be just the album you're looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ah, such sweet, nonsensical memories..., September 5, 1999
My friend bought this CD and brought it to summer camp when we were 13 or 14 years old, and now the songs are permanently etched into my neurons. From the M.C. Hammer-like "Don't Touch Me" to the grunge-parody "Smells Like Cartoon Planet" to the various sketches peppered throughout the disc, this CD is perfect for the kind of "shut your brain off and laugh" times that come with summer... not to mention being 14 years old. You may think "Oh, it's stupid. I'm above all that." But you're missing out on an almost Monty Pythonian absurdist experience.

I still listen to Brak's songs all of the time, and I'm 27 years old. This stuff is so funny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious guy humor, February 13, 2007
By
nutritionmom (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
If you are a fan of adult swim and have seen the new Space Ghost show, you will LOVE this CD. My 5 year old son and his daddy love it. It is full of the human body intestinal and other body sound effects. Although it is from the adult swim segment, there are no curse words or offensive phrases a 5 year old should not hear. Other than the one song with "shut up" and another with a" stupid", it is acceptable for a child to hear.

I call it "guy humor" but I actually find it funny myself. The songs will stick in your head and make you smile throughout your day. Everytime I eat beans I think of the song "I Love Beans". [I am laughing to myself now just thinking about it]

5.0 out of 5 stars Funniest Cartoon Album, May 20, 2003
By
Slugysmudge (OHIO, Land of the Tarth!) - See all my reviews
Lately I've had a mild craze for cartoon music because I have an oddball sense of humor. However, this is one that stands out above all the others, except for maybe Go Simpsonic With The Simpsons. You probably get the idea that cartoon music is just for kids, but I'm a college student and I find it even more amusing than I would if I was still in grade school. Give this a spin and burn your other worthless music because this is the CD you would choose if you were to take one on a deserted island. Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Space Ghost, Zorak, and Brak ROCK w/Cartoon Planet CD, March 16, 2002
By
PF4Eva (Norman, OK USA) - See all my reviews
"Space Ghost's Musical Bar-B-Que" has the BEST "Cartoon Planet" songs of all time on it. This hit-packed CD kicks off with the now-classic metal/rock anthem, "Smells like Cartoon Planet." This is Space Ghost's only stab at heavy metal, which will go down in history forever. "I Love Beans" is the BEST AND ONLY tribute to baked beans of all time. Brak (voiced by Andy Merrill)
sure knows how to sing! ;)! "Highway 40 Revisited" is a BRILLIANT tribute to Bob Dylan. "Crazy Lovesick Fool" is one of the BEST ballads I have heard in my life. The bridge to the song "I Love You Baby" is the best (bridge-wise). It would be a waste of time for me to go on, you get the idea anyway. Rock on Space Ghost (George Lowe), Zorak (C. Martin Croker), and Brak (Andy Merrill)!!!;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Got kids? Want to play music that everybody has fun with?, October 30, 2001
I take care of my nieces and nephews, from 7-12 years old, and my own 7-month old daughter. That's six kids in all... There's only so much "Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland" that a sane adult can handle!

This stuff is magic! It's the best fun you can have with your kids, sitting in the car all singing at the top of your lungs! I get a big kick thinking what other people must be hearing as we soar through our commute with the windows rolled down, five kids and one grown-up singing "I Love Beans" as loud as we can! Woooohoooo!!.

I've bought every one of the cd's I could find, and I'm only sad there aren't more.
