This sounds more mature, less raw than their previous release, Lo Flux Tube. It's still the same style: drum machine seemingly played real time and layered, ie chaos, guitar synth also layered and screechy black metal type vocals. Heavy, dense and chaotic. But the hook for me is there is buried melody that is maybe all the more powerful since it appears out of different strands of noise. Along with Lo Flux Tube, the sound is one of a kind and in my experience an acquired taste.
