Eclectic Mix is Informing and Entertaining,
This review is from: Musical Instruments from A to Z (Alphabasics) (Paperback)
Musical Instruments From A to Z is a wonderfully eclectic alphabet book. The choice of instruments runs the gamut from the ordinary; guitar, clarinet, drum, to the unique and unusual; ch'ing, alpenhorn, and zeze. The choice of instruments for each letter is sometimes just what you would think; D is for drum, S is for stringed instruments, and sometimes it just keeps you guessing; A is for harp, or "Angel music", E and F are for guitar, "electric" of course that you play with your "fingers". In keeping with this varied format the illustrations are a wonderful combination of photographs of adults and children, illustrations, and paintings, sure to keep any child amused and entertained.
