From the Publisher
History Alive Through Music is a wonderful collection of stories providing the living link to our past, carefully passed down through generations in folk songs. Folk singer and historian, Diana Waring, is the brainchild for the development of the series, whose interest in both music and history led to its development. She is joined by the special talents of Craig Russell, John Standefer, and Tad Suckling in creating a unique approach to learning history through music. Included in this set are the Musical Memories of Laura Ingalls Wilder. You'll learn about the Wilders and the pioneers with historical photographs and the stories behind each of the songs. No home or school should be without these one-of-a-kind extra-curricular activity/music sets to listen to and enjoy with the Little House books! This is history you'll never forget!
