This CD includes more than just music; it has four interactive musical stories based on episodes from the show, including "The Birthday Balloons" (with music from "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik"), "Rocket Safari" (with music from "Flight of the Bumblebee"), "Pirate's Treasure" (with music from "Carmen Suite #1"), and "The Golden Pyramid" (with music from "Hungarian Dance #5"). The CD also includes the Theme song, Mission song and Blast off song. Included with the CD are an activity booklet and picture clings which let kids participate during the stories. The Little Einstein characters narrate the stories along the way. Our children (2 and 4) love it! If your children love the Little Einsteins show, they will like this CD.

This CD somes with little colorform stickers and a book of the various places the CD goes to. It isn't really a CD of songs but a whole adventure. Slightly like some of the shows but different enough to keep my 4yr old daughter interested the ENTIRE time. Wonderful for long trips in the car! I do hope they come out with a CD of all their songs though - just songs but this is agreat idea.

Fairly entertaining (at least for my son), Musical Missions certainly is a nice package. There are colorform 'stickers' that are placed in the special booklet, which has different scenes that correspond to the stories. My complaint is there is too much talking among the Little Einstien characters and not enough singing. There is actually more dialogue than song. Without the booklet and stickers in hand, listening can be frustating for a child. I was hoping the 'Kite Parade' song was included, since it is my son's favorite, but it's not here. I agree with the other reviewer, that if a music only cd was available, I'd prefer it over this.

I certianly don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, if your child likes Little Einstiens, they will like this CD. Just wish it was more music and less talk.

My twins are Einstein fanatics and I thought it would be great to have a Cd of some of the songs from the show. The CD is basically a few of the shows on CD, not much for songs, just the episodes.

WE LOVE DISNEY'S LITTLE EINSTEINS, AND THIS CD DEFINITELY ROCKS!, IT'S TRULY AN ORIGINAL CONCEPT!, JUST LIKE VIEWING ONE OF THEIR DVDS' BUT INSTEAD YOU LISTEN TO THEM!, GREAT BUY!, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I bought this for my 4 yo son thinking it would be songs of the little einsteins shows. It has some songs, but like other reviews ( which I should of read) it has lots of talking from the episodes. It keeps him somewhat occupied, but would of been better if it has just been the song versions. Hope they come out with a second version with just songs alone. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Ok..my [...]is a HUGE Little Einstein fan. She really loves this cd, however this is more of a story cd. It comes with a little book with removable gel like stickers so that the listener can make the picture of the story being recited. There are 3 or 4 very familiar stories including the music and all the Einstein character voices but I thought it was going to be just songs and music from the program. I was worried at first but it turns out to be a great "quiet time" cd because it's stories and music....your child does not need to use the stickers to enjoy the cd and they actually end up on my windows sometimes!

My 2 1/2 daughter loves this CD so much!! She will sit in her room and sing to it and act out the scenes all day. She wants to listen to it when she goes to bed even. I think it makes her use her imagination even more because she is listening to it rather than watching the show. I have every Little Einstein product that you can get and this is another great tool for developing her imagination!

This CD teaches musical terms such as crescendo and pianissimo to pre-schoolers. My 3 year old now knows many of the terms taught. It also plays musical selections from many great classical works. Hearing the stories over and over can be tiring, and some parts of the story you need to see to understand, a difficulty in translating a visual story directly onto an audio medium. However, this CD is a good investment. The Little Einsteins are well-mannered, intelligent children with a highly advanced vocabulary, a big change from the dumbing-down attitude in so many other children's cartoons. They are excellent role models for pre-school and kindergarten children.

The music is the background for snippets of dialogue from the TV episodes. A narrator fills in holes in the story and gives directions for following along in the booklet with the picture clings (included with the CD). This is not just a music CD; it's like a book on tape, which I think is brilliant. My daughter (two and a half) has only seen one of the four episodes included on this CD, but the dialogue gives you the whole story so she can enjoy the whole CD. The first time we listened to it in the car, she wanted to listen to it again when we got home. I would rather have her listen to this over and over again than sit in front of the TV. I wish they had more CDs like this.
