My mother-in-law is an antique dealer and only buys the best gifts....never novelty gifts. Until she gave us this one year. And we absolutely love it. It's hilarious (to us.) But it's also very sweet. It sings Happy Birthday twice and the person's voice sounds a lot like Karen Carpenter (whose voice is beautiful!) Since then, we've purchased two more because when people see it, they want one! Do yourself (and your friends and family) a favor and buy this. You'll get a kick out of it for sure.

I saw this musical revolving cake plate in a specialty store.I thought it was unique and fun. It takes the awkard moment of when everyone "has " to sing Happy Birthday,and everyone can join in with the singer. It really does not look like it will revolve and light up. Great product and a fun gift.
