I really enjoyed this book; it works well as an introduction to Greek music. However, I wish the author would have continued with the images he used in the beginning of the work, as they might have been helpful throughout.

Also, the format of this work really calls for more of an outline (1. Aeschylus, 2. Sophocles, etc. ); the edition I read was rendered in paragraphs.

To review, a great introduction to the topic. w/ footnotes!
