I'm a music minister in a church that has this piano bench. I weigh 170 pounds and was seated on this bench, while it was in the upraised position and it suddenly collapsed to the lower level position. It happened once again while my fingers were on the edge of the seat. It could have caused serious injury to me had my fingers been a little further over edge of the seat. If you do buy it, keep it in the lowest position.

This bench is just what I needed for my digital piano. I only wish the storage area was a little bigger. You can only fit three thin books in there.

Looks great. Needs a little more padding if you plan to play for any length of time.

It was a great decision related to quality, comfort, and price. I'm very glad with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice and good piano bench.

I bought this for our new keyboard we got for Christmas. It's a pretty nice bench. Good-quality, flip-top for a little storage, nice that it can go up as much as it does - I have a 5 yr old that is using it - wanted to try and get his hands correctly positioned as possible. Funny that this bench was almost as expensive as the keyboard but the others just seemed too cheaply made? hmmm I'm happy with my buy - it's all good. ;-)

I was looking at few other products,but that one looked good for the price. To my surprise this bench looks much better than on the picture. It's nice and solid; the piano lacquer looks very nice. The cushioned seat is very comfortable. I agree that the storage could be a bit bigger, but its good enough.

This is perfect for my son taking piano lessons. I wish I would have paid more attention to the length of it - as it isn't long enough for two people to sit on it. But otherwise it is very good quality and sturdy. The leather padding is nice as well.

I would highly recommend purchasing this piano bench. Good quality seat with stylish buttons and padding. Solid construction but not too heavy to move around. Easy to put together! Easy to adjust the height! Glossy finish all over. The other reviews on this bench helped me decide to purchase it so I thought I would write a favorable review too. My first! :D

This product fit the bill for my music studio. Needed adjustable height for wide range of students but not willing to spend $250 - $500 for an "Artist Quality bench". This bench is solidly built. Good fit and finish. The legs need attachment by the consumer. This is where most "budget" benches of this type fail. This bench's legs are well-engineered and will last before becoming weak at the attachment points.

The height adjust mechanism is robust - no problems since being put into heavy rotation in an active teaching studio.

Hard to beat this deal for anyone not needing the high end appearance or fit & finish of a true artist bench.

Only 4 stars as my unit had light rust on edges of some metal in the height mechanism (even though it was new-in-box). This cleaned up easily with some 00000 steel wool and a light spray of WD-40. No reappearance of the rust after 3 weeks.

We needed this bench, because in our family different persons want to play our digital piano.
To sit in a upright but comfortable position is very important. With this bench you can do it.
This bench is also easy to handle.
I would buy it again.
