This case is great. I just got it and I already love it. I have a custom made one off banjo that is very valuable and I completely trust this case to protect it as I carry it from show to show. I have been using a custom made case that weighs as much as a small car and I'm getting too old to tote that thing around. I highly recomend this case and I plan to buy the guitar version to replace my heavy guitar case as well.

I ordered this as a gift for my boyfriend, who had a banjo but no case. He loves it. It is quite sturdy.

As a beginning banjo picker, I needed a case for my "el cheapo" resonator banjo. This is a great case for the money...lightweight, well padded, soft interior and it fit like a glove. Appears to be constructed very well. Although I haven't tried to put any sheet music in the outside pocket so don't know if they would fit, the interior accessory bin holds my picks and electonic tuner with room to spare. Easily a case well worth the money.

It's so nice to have a lightweight banjo case and I can use the straps as a backpack....sure beats my other HEAVY case, especially for walking around festivals.

The case is awesome, very heavy duty and with a great price.

This is seriously the most poorly thought out and poorly constructed banjo case imaginable.

Most annoyingly the clips on the straps are horrible and come off frequently. Literally even walking 5 blocks, the banjo will basically fall off of my back at least two times.

Additionally the ring at the top of the bag is ripping through the loop that holds it onto the case.

Incredibly, there is no place to put a music book or even a few papers without folding them at least once. This makes no sense.

Please do yourself a favor and buy another banjo case.

This banjo is an extraordinary value for the money. In fact, its the best I've seen at any price. It fully protects my banjo, yet is light weight. The external pocket is handy for picks and straps, etc. Good product.

I purchased this from Music123 and it was shipped next day and arrived 2 days after that, so that was excellent.

As for the case itself, it just barely fits my 1930s? Framus banjo (hopefully I'll be able to upload my pictures later), and by just barely I mean I literally have to cram it into the case and there is not a millimeter of space anywhere around the resonator. Hopefully with time the foam will squish a little and it'll give my banjo a little more room.

The construction seems solid: seams are tight, zippers work well, padding is sufficient.

5 stars, no complaints, but if you own a larger banjo (probably anything more than 11" in diameter), you may want to consider a different case.
