Great source of music jokes,
By Jill Clymer (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Musician's Joke Book: Knowing the Score (Paperback)
I've had this book several years now, and it's quite a fun and interesting source for musical wisdom and jokes. I'm a violist, so it's of course a somewhat twisted joy to find that a third of the book is dedicated to the scores and scores of derisive viola jokes that are out there. Any musician would get a kick out of reading this and springing a joke or two on his pals. Not a single instrument or musician is spared the scathing blows of this witty and sarcastic joke collection. The book is so thorough that it covers all the music jokes I had ever heard plus many, many more. The only disadvantage then is that when a buddy tells you a music joke, it's likely that you'll already know it! But don't let that stop you from picking up a copy for yourself or a musical friend.
