This is a magnificent CD in every way. The music is superb and the vocals are incredible. I think the singer is called a counter tenor, if I'm not mistaken (but I'm far from expert) and it's divine, just divine. This music takes a little getting used to, as it is quite unusual. The first time I listened to it, I raised my eyebrows and kinda laughed and put it away for about a year. Upon revisiting it and listening with more appreciation I came to realize how really GOOD this music is. It's one of my favorites.
