This review is from: Muskrat Ramble (Audio CD)
A good example of the Teagarden Sextet as it played in 1958.
Apart from the obvious warehorses, the CD also includes a nice piano solo by Don Ewell - Atlanta Blues and some tunes not immediately connected to Teagarden. The sound is OK - being from a live concert in Vancouver - but the Teagarden vocals are not well recorded. But shame on the producers - apart from the maestro himself - no personnel is listed in spite of the fact that the booklet commentary is made by the Teagarden expert himself - John Showler. From the photo it appears that the other players are Dick Oakley-tp Jerry Fuller-cl Stan Puls-b and Ronnie Greb-dm
