Bostitch is worth $.99, September 30, 2010

This comes with a beautiful poster similar to the cover. Found it used in a shop and was thrilled but just for the one song
'Bostitch'. UNfortunately the clip isn't long enough to show where he goes with this. If you like 'Don't Worry. Com' Talvin Singh, 'Chandini Chowk' MIDival Punditz, Wobble 'Alsema Dub' radio Axiom then this song has a loop of high energy syncopated tabla sounds in a similar sound. But without a strong bass to move things along. He doesn't get as far as bass or melody but 'Neutral' & 'the Silver Wizard' come about as close as he gets. I really loved this cd and was always curious if there was more as good. So far I haven't heard much else of Bryn Jones that seems to go beyond basic rythmn loops. This cd makes an effort to move into building the loops into real songs.
