There comes a time in everyone’s life when the proverbial light comes on saying, “Enough is enough! I really, truly have to do something to regain my self-respect and health." Never mind that I weighed 363 pounds! Despite any previous failures, this time I was ready!
You will soon read about how and why I felt ready this time compared to other times. How could I do it? Celebrities who came on television telling me about their weight loss success did not motivate me. I am not part of that demographic. I am a working class guy with limited resources and funds maybe like you. I do not make gazillion dollars a year, and I can’t spend four to five days a week with a private trainer. I do not have the money or time to spend at a plush resort-style health spa, on a private dietitian or on a personal chef.
What I had become, however, was smart enough to finally make some good choices on how I was going to break free of the FAT monster. With the aid of a good diet resource and mental reconditioning, which I will share with you, I conquered my fat problem head on. And you can, too!
“ I am no longer who I was. I am who I am becoming”. Reach out for change with both hands and hold on tight. Don’t let anyone or anything distract you from what you know you can accomplish. Don’t buy into any excuses offered by others or of your own making. If you choose to lose weight, you will. And the only way you won’t reach a reasonable weight goal is if you stop choosing to do so.
