The album is fantastic. Period. If you've ever watched a movie in your life, you will recognize at least one of these songs. Highly enjoyable! I, personally would appreciate if future reviewers would please review the product instead of Amazon's Service, or Amazon problems. The reviews are here to help people understand whether they will want to purchase a particular product, not to complain that you didn't get the product, or that it arrived damaged, or any other reason other than an opinion about the actual product. If there is a problem with Amazon, they are not hard to communicate with and usually work hard and courteously to help you resolve problem. And no, I am not affiliated with Amazon or the Album, just a happy Amazon customer.

I don't go to the movies very often, but I was interested in seeing which movies these popular tunes were associated with. You can still enjoy this great music regardless. Adagio for strings, Bolero, 1812 Overture and Rhapsody in Blue are among my favorites. One of my favorite pianists Jeno Jando is featured on that last tune as well as 3 others. As of this writing the price is 99 cents, which is a no-brainer for 100 songs. Even if it goes up to 6.99, it's still worth buying.

I bought several of these super cheap collections here at Amazon, and I never wrote a review. I will do so this time. I will give you three great reasons to buy this one. 1: 100 tracks for $0.99. Not sure yet? 2. 10.40 hours for $0.99. I am sure you are already purchasing this already. Not quite? Well ... 3. The 'Bolero' by Ravel (15 minutes and 27 seconds) and 99 other tracks for $0.99. This collection is nothing less than excellent.

100-Must Have Movie Classics is wonderful, and it is currently valued at a steal (99 cents!) At that price, each song is less than a penny in price! There are plenty of fantastic tracks on here that are (on their own) worth the price of this compilation. These are all classic songs; you won't find scores by John Williams, Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer and the like. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and buy it! :)

A few things to be aware of: These songs are of the original, class version. For example, "Can-Can" from Moulin Rouge is not the version featured in the movie. Instead, it stays true to the composer's work. Additionally, these tracks are pretty low in volume, and the quality varies (as they do for all of these 100-song compilations).

UPDATE: 100 MUST-HAVE MOVIE CLASSICS' price has been raised to $2.99. Even so, this compilation is well worth the price for casual listeners of classical music.

These "100 best classical" albums are a dime a dozen on the web these days. Most of the time you'll end up with a few songs you recognize and be left with 90 others you've never heard of before. This collection, however, seems pretty solid. You may not recognize them from the movie they cameo in, but it at least seems likely that they were chosen for that particular movie because of their recognizability.

I bought this "album" set on a whim. It is a collection of 100 classical tunes that have been used in movies. Not all are to my taste, but there are so many titles and such variety that the set is well worth it. All recordings are "real" orchestras, not cheapo productions.

I didn't recognize a lot of the songs (or, honestly, several of the movies either), but this is a good collection. If you listen to nothing but Adagio for Strings, which is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written/composed, you get your money's worth.

I bought the Big Vivaldi Box and the Big Mozart box and this all at the same time. While I love the music in this set, I can't play them on shuffle because THIS specific set is WAY too quiet. I'll be listening to Vivaldi at a normal sound level, and then a song from this set comes on and I can't hear it, so I go change the volume, and then the next song is SO loud that I have to scramble to turn the sound down again.

It is very disappointing.

While I liked the selections included in this compilation, the record level from track to track is uneven. This can be annoying for many listeners.
