This book is a wee gem, I live in Dublin but had friends visiting from overseas recently, I couldn't get time off work to travel around the country with them but found this and and recommended it to them. It recommends some of my favourite spots and basically gives you the 'need to know' on them. They had a fantastic time, definitely a handy, no nonsense shortcut to Ireland.

This is more like a pamphlet than a travel guide. Only ten places/attractions listed, and probably ones that you already know anyway. Save your money.

The book is an easy read but just hits some of the bigger tourist spots in Ireland. The good thing is that it has a more local flavor to the descriptions and information. Good but limited information. The book is a good adjunctive read to other travel books available.

This little book gives one the most basic of information about a limited number of sights in Ireland. I would have liked more choices. Having now completed my visit, I realise that the book does not cover nearly enough.

The information was good, but the font was so small I could only read the book in very bright light.
If your reading vision is not the best, this is not the book for you.

This book was very short, did not include a lot of detail and contains basic information anyone can find on any travel website, blog, or just through google search. Not worth the few bucks, spend 5 minutes on google.

Love reading about Ireland. I am so fascinated with Ireland. Love looking up things about Ireland a land that I hope to visit someday, if the lord is willing.

Information is information, but if presentation matters, you can do better. Even my teenager was unsatisfied with the writing of this book. As for the information, it remains to be seen whether it's spot on or way off-- we'll be in Ireland later this year (which is why we bought this).

Really interesting and good information! Learned a lot! :)
I liked how they had the seven wonders of Ireland in it!

Some good information from a local perspective is provided. However, my major criticism is the fact that the book has numerous grammatical errors, particularly with respect to sentence structure, making it often difficult to read. It is also quite brief.
