This is a detailed history of the founder of modern Kurdistan and the inspiration for a democracy in the Middle East. Account from his son, Massoud, who is currently the innovative President of the Kurdistan Regional Government and implementing his father's dream of a democratic Kurdistan. Important to appreciate the tremendous stuggle of the Kurdish people to get to where they are today in Iraq as a prosperous, secure and democratic region.
