About the Author

Bob McClurg began his automotive writing career in the fifth grade when he published an article in the local newspaper on traffic safety. He continued with his passion in high school when he began taking pictures at Lion's Dragstrip. In April of 1969 he got his first big break when he signed on as the photo editor for "Super Stock & Drag Illustrated" magazine.

During the past 30 years, Bob's work has appeared in almost every automotive magazine in the country, as well as in numerous European & Asian enthusiast magazines. In his career, Bob has been the photo editor for "Hot Rod" magazine, and the editor of Petersen's "Kit Car" magazine, as well as McMullen-Argus' "Mustang Illustrated" & "High Performance Ford" magazines.

This book briefly mentions the first generation mustangs before going into great detail on later generation mustangs.Plenty of black & white and colour photos throughout and a detailed text will please lovers of these mustangs.

This book is of high standard that the author is known for and he knows his mustangs.

I own over 20 Mustang books and can honestly say this is one of the best out there. If you are interested in the SN-95 Mustang this book is for you! The majority of this book is about the development and introduction of the SN-95. It has great color photos and cutaway drawings. It also contains great information and pictures of earlier models. This book will impress you and is a steal at the current price.
