5.0 out of 5 stars Mathis - the authority for 5.0 Mustangs, January 5, 1998
This review is from: Mustang Performance Handbook 2 (Paperback)
I have both this and the drivetrain book by Mathis. This is the most detailed information you will get from a general automotive upgrade book. I highly recommend these for anyone interested in modifying their Mustang. Includes diagrams for manufacturing your own parts, as well as an extensive list of parts mfrs.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best late-model 5.0-Liter books ever written., May 22, 1999
By A Customer
I think Mr. Mathis desrves his own show on TNN. Without a whole-lot of tact, Mathis shares his opinions on which year models to avoid and how truly expensive many mods really are. This book is "no-bull".

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bible for Mustang Guys, November 29, 2000
By
Dave Freeman (Garland, Texas United States) - See all my reviews
This book is the numeral uno source for making your mustang scream. It has ALL the answers and I couldn't have done any thing to my Ford without it! No matter your experience level in the hot rod field, the material in this hanbook is for all levels. I was clueless, couldn't tell you the difference between a strut and roller rocker. Now I have a daily driver that runs low 11's and pulls 1.02 lateral g's in a turn; and I did everyhting! I bought a copy for all of the guys in my stang club, and they now have the knowledge they needed and so wanted to have.
