5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best!, August 25, 2005
A Kid's Review
Ok, I think I've read every horse book or series in the world. Not to brag or anything. I've read Heartland, Pony Pals, The Sadlle Club, Hoofbeats, Black Beauty, National Velvet etc. I think the Phantom Stallion is better than all of those, even the classics. After reading the first book, I jut had to get my hands on the second. I have to say that Mustang Moon has one of the best storylines in the whole entire series. And that's saying something. It's about how an escaped stallion named Hammer/Diablo invades the local ranches and tries to steal tamed mares. But the problem is, everybody thinks that the Phantom Stallion is responsible and Sam must prove to the town that the phantom is innocent. But that's not it. That's what I like about these books. The plot has other things going on. Sam also has to get used to Darton High School and make new friends. So you see, this book is really good and you have to get out there and read it right now.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book, August 20, 2002
By A Customer
This was a great book as was The wild One! I absoulutley loved it! I hate that its in the 9-12 section of stores though because I think that anyone could enjoy it plus I feel out of place buying it (but its worth it). Terri Farley did an incredible job of writing Mustang Moon. I especially love the charavcters. Jake has got to have one of the coolest personalitys I've ever read about! I love horses and own one of my own and this book was really fun to read maybe because of my love for horses or maybe just cause its a great book. I've reread it two times and have reread my favorite parts many times and everytime it is just as good. My heart really goes out to Jake I can understand completely why he doesn't want Sam near the Phantom but, I also she way he gets on Sams nerves about that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mustang Moon is a great book., May 17, 2003
A Kid's Review
A stallion is stealing mares. When the stallion steals crazy Linc Slocum's mare,he blames the Phantom!
Sam knows it's not him but everyone else thinks it is. Sam doesn't know what to do. Then Linc says he will give money
to anyone who will find his mare and capture the Phantom. The stallion steals one of Sam's mares too.
Days later she sees her mare with the stallion. The stallion tries to run over Sam, but the Phantom comes to the rescue. After
fighting the stallion the Phantom is hurt, Sam knows she has to do something....
It was a really great book.
I really love all the Phantom Stallion books. They are so good. They are my favorite series of horse books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mustang Moon ( Phantom Stallion #2 ), July 1, 2005
This is a great follow-up to the original. Hammer(Diablo) is stunning and the beggining is cool. Definately one of the best books in the whole series. I would recommend it over the newer PS books. The plot is wonderful. So, check it out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Phantom Stallion is a Great Series!!, March 4, 2005
I have read the first thirteen of the Phantom Stallion series, and Mustang Moon is one of my favorites. Like all the Phantom Stallion books, a lot of different story lines are presented throughout the book. You get to know not only the human characters, but also the horses, each of which have their own personality as well. I highly recommend the Phantom Stallion series for any horse lover!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mustang Moon (Phantom Stallion #2), May 14, 2003
This is a great sequel to The Phantom Stallion "The Wild One." It gets you hooked after reading the first paragraph. Now I don't want to tell you to much you will have to read it yourself, but Sam sees a mustang stallion, other than Phantom, enter the ranch yard. But before she can wonder who it is, Linc Solcum's new mare Hot Spot gets stolen. He blames it on the Phantom ... well I've said enough, you will have to get the book yourself to find out the rest.

5.0 out of 5 stars I L-O-V-E IT!!!!!!!! I'M GOING TO GET ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, March 17, 2006
I love all of the books except #3 because she lets a bratty girl train her horse. This book is awsome. Every book has an adventure especially number 1 "The Wild One". I love these books and I recommend them to anybody who loves horses. I recommend them to 11 and up becauseyounger children won't understand the amazingness of this book. Do not read this if you don't like horses. You don't have to love them but don't hate them or you won't understand the girl's deep love for the horses. I love horses and would have done everything she did to save them. I'm currently on number 7 and I just bought number 8. I have yet to read it.
