If you like hot sauce, you'll like this harissa. This harissa is salty and hot, with a roasted pepper taste to it. Very good to use as an ingredient in Moroccan cooking or as a condiment. My spouse is from Morocco and says this is an authentic tasting harissa. A staple in my house! We love it on chicken and sandwiches, especially.

This is a great harissa!!! Very flavorful. I developed my love of harissa in France and this rivals any I've tried. This is much better than the tube variety. It's perfect!

I just bought this at Sur La Table. I love all spicy sauces and I had heard of harissa but never tried it. I don't have anything to compare it to, so I'll just rate it on it's own merits. Mustapha's Harissa is flavorful, fresh-tasting, and packs a bite. It's a great condiment for soups, egg dishes and meats. So far. I'm sure I'll be trying it with more kinds of foods in the coming days. Chili-heads - heads-up on this new spicy find.

I have tried several versions of Harissa and nothing comes even close to this one. It is a terrible shame that Amazon is out because now I need to learn how to make it myself. There is no possible way I will come close - Mustapha's Harissa is the stuff...

Mustapha is the Man when it comes to Harissa. This product is delicious. It has the right amount of heat but is also highly flavorful. Great for couscous, kefteh kabobs, and other North African and Middle Eastern dishes, but we also love it on less traditional fare. Try it on beef or lamb burgers cooked on the grill. Enjoy.

I have used this product in tagine dishes. It adds just the right amount of kick to the ingredients. I use about a tablespoon and that is enough without being overbearing.

I wish I hadn't purchased this. Heard a lot about harissa sauce and if this is what all the fuss is about I'm disappointed... I wish I can get a refund!!!

This is a lovely addition to a tagine to give it kick and a full pepper flavor. It keeps well in the refrigerator for months. Try it with the recipes from this book: Tagine: Spicy Stews from Morocco

compared to the mina harissa this product isn't good at all... very bitter, too salty and overall tastes bad. I used it once and haven't touched it since. Not a good product!

Bland food no more! This is an amazing blend of spicy and salty with just an amazing flavor. Use it as an ingredient or as a condiment and you will not be disappointed. I like to use it with meats, especially chicken or good sausages but it can be used with almost anything. Since discovering this several years ago I cannot leave it alone. If you have never tried this before, then treat yourself to something wonderful.
