This is not a literary work in the traditional sense since, like all of Bhagwan's books, it contains transcripts of his teachings which were given live over the course of his life. Like many great spiritual teachers, Bhagwan had scandals in his life, but they cannot taint the power of his teachings. Truth is eternal. This book contains powerful tools for those who want to explore the inner world - spirituality, enlightenment. In each chapter, Bhagwan discusses a specific teaching of Jesus and then masterfully dissects the words to reveal the deeper meaning. Potent and moving stuff.

What is enlightenment? What is the spiritual life about? What was Jesus really saying, and how does that fit into the bigger picture? These questions are revealed in this volume and in all of Bhagwan's works.

I would recommend this book to spiritual seekers, non-believers, and Christians alike. Here, Bhagwan finally presents a Jesus for our time. One whose message still has meaning - meaning that is lost in the traditional biblical versions. I was raised Catholic and when I read this book I thought to myself "finally, a Jesus I can believe in". When you begin to understand what Jesus was REALLY saying, you begin to get a glimpse of the true spiritual life. Thank you master!
