Got the unit as a gift, NIB. After running less than 2 hours, some component melted in the top, behind the screen. Sound remains, but picture is gone.
Called Mustek tech services and they will not honor warranty without a receipt which I don't have. Buy a better unit from a better company.

Received it and sent it back all in the same day. It played the first DVD for a few seconds, then scrambled the picture.
Tried three different DVD's and no picture. Contacted Mustek and customer service were easy to reach and somewhat helpful. After trying a few things, they suggested I return it. |
