I bought this shampoo with hopes to clear up my 4 month old's cradle cap. I have used it for about 2 weeks now. It seems to have helped a little bit, but he still has pretty significant cradle cap. I do like the way it smells and his hair is really soft since beginning to use it. I just wish it cleared up his cradle cap!

My daughter was born with lots of hair. When she began to develop cradle cap I was told to try mineral oil or petroleum jelly. I tried the petroleum jelly... the cradle cap was gone, but I had to wash my baby's hair several times to get rid of the greasiness! And after a few days the cradle cap started to come back. I read about this product and figured it was worth a try. IT IS THE BEST STUFF! Her cradle cap is gone and hasn't come back. It leaves her hair soft, not greasy. The foam is great (you only need a little each time) and it is so easy to use! (No need to worry about tears - it doesn't run down her head).

We have no need of other shampoos. This one is worth every penny. I plan on recommending it to other new parents! It will make a great SHOWER gift, too! :)

My baby had the worst kind of cradle cap. He developed cradle cap and extremely dry skin when he was about 2 months old. The dry flakes were so thick, that it covered his entire scalp and face. The cradle cap was so bad that whenever we lifted him, our clothes were covered with his dry flakes..when I would sweep our hardwood floor, I would sweep about a handful of his dry flakes. His whole body had dry flakes as well...I am not sure if the dry flakes on his body was a different condition or if the dry flakes from his scalp was just falling over his body.

We tried soaking his scalp in olive oil and then combing off the flakes and shampooing his hair. We tried using a humidifier, diluted ketaconazole shampoo, other different shampoos..none of these worked. Tried researching online about remedies. Everybody seemed to say that the cradle cap and dry skin would get better on its own, in a few months. I had pretty much resigned that he was going to have it this bad till he turned 1 year. I dont know why nobody has mentioned online about mustella.

A lady whom I met when I went for a walk, saw my baby and asked me to try mustella. By this time, I was trying anything anybody suggested. So, I came home and ordered mustella shampoo. Within just a couple of uses, his cradle cap was 99% gone, his dry skin also has become so much better. He has only a couple of dry pathces on his face and elbows and I lather a little bit of this shampoo on these problem areas whenever I give his bath.

Overall extremely satisfied and grateful for this product. My only regret is that I did not come to know about mustella early on and wonder my doctor had not thought of recommending this product.By the way this is my first review on Amazon and have been recommending this now to anybody and everybody who asks me about my son's improvement.

i received this shampoo as a gift from a relative. my first thought was shampoo from nordstroms??? but once i used it i realized how great it was. we had tried several things to get rid of cradle cap to no avail. this did the trick! it cured her craddle cap!!! also, 6 months later we are still using the same thing of shampoo. this stuff lasts forever!!! the foam style shampoo makes it last longer and makes washing the hair MUCH MUCH easier. i totally LOVE this shampoo!!!

Our newborn developed mild cradle cap at around 2 weeks old so I did a lot of research and found this shampoo. I used it along with the Stelaker cream and we have managed to keep it clear. It took about 2 days to clear up. The shampoo lasts forever, my son is now 7 months old and we still have about half a bottle left and he gets a bath every night.

It wasn't an instant miracle, but this is so far the only thing that worked on my daughter's cradle cap. It took about a month or so to finally clear up for good. What finally worked for us was using this in combination with the Stelaker lotion. First I would use the Mustela shampoo in the bath and scrub pretty good with this scrubby brush I got from the hospital. Then would put the lotion on after her bath, before bed. After about a month, the flakes finally stopped coming back. Worth the price!

My 1 month old had cradle cap. I remembered what a pain it was using baby oil etc and combing it out of my older sons' scalp when he was a baby and did NOT want to do that again. I ordered this shampoo. First day- not much better but maybe a slight improve my on top of head. Second day- it was totally gone from the top of his head & sides. Day 3- completely gone from back of head. I got his hair wet, put it on, combed it through and then let it sit on his scalp while I washed the rest of his body (so it sits for 1-2 mins like the pkg says to do) Then combed it again and rinsed. I thought it was pricey but it's foam and will last a LONG time. Definitely worth it

When my son was a newborn, he constantly wanted laid down - on his back. After a short while, he developed cradle cap (or very dry, flakey skin) all over his head. I tried combing it out, swtching shampoos, moisturizers, oils, and several other things. Nothing worked - or at least nothing helped it longer than a few hours.

Being the paranoid mother that I am, I started searching online for something to help cure it rather than mask it. I came across an ad for this shampoo and read some reviews on it. I immediately ordered it and once received, I used it.

I didn't think much of the foam, as I assumed it was "too thin" to actually help the problem. I was wrong! The foam actually turned out to be wonderful! It really helps use less and in turn, it lasts for a very long time. My son is now 18 months and I still have a large portion left.

My son never noticed the switch, which I had worried about how it would feel on his scalp. Within just a few uses, it had made a huge difference. I was relieved - just as my son was since I no longer had to sit and comb out the flakes. I am very happy I had come across the product and am thankful for such helpful reviews to have helped influence me to make the purchase. I highly recommend this product and am one happy Momma!
