4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining And Fun!
This was about 4 hours of entertainment for around $15! I can't see why people complain or say that it's expensive. The episodes were well done and had some of the best action I've seen for a TV production. Really great jumping and kicking. Good special effects too. I would recommend this for someone that wants something fun to watch late at night or on the weekend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Price Gouging
I recently bought the first season of Andromeda right here at Amazon; all 22 episodes in a boxed set, with extras, for $62.98. A reasonable price for a reasonably good product. Then we come to Mutant X. Leaving aside the quality of the product, which is also reasonably good, the price is outrageous! To purchase the available 16 episodes as offered, on individual...

Then we come to Mutant X. Leaving aside the quality of the product, which is also reasonably good, the price is outrageous! To purchase the available 16 episodes as offered, on individual two-episode DVDs, would cost me $141.84, more than twice what I paid for a full season of Andromeda! And I'd still be six episodes short! Do these people think I'm Nuts?

5.0 out of 5 stars MUTANT X, January 23, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Mutant X - Season 1 Discs 8-9 (DVD)
So far, I've bought MUTANT X SEASON ONE DVD's 1 thru 5. I think this show is very high tech and stylized. I like how it is filmed in wide screen. The characters are kool and enjoy the stories very much. Shalamar is the best character on the show with primal mutant abilities. This show is sometimes hard to find on a channel in my area. I missed most of season 1 & 2 but luckily, my satelite provides mutant x on a cable network. These dvd's are top quality yet are a bit expensive and haven't been too impressed with special features...one disc had BLOOPERS--it was a mix match clip collection that lasted a whole whopping 1 minute 32 seconds... I love this show, but hope for the next release of seasons, it's packaged with better features and a better price range...The only reason i'm buying these is becuase i missed seeing the show when it first came on--but c'mon they could at least put 3 episodes a disc if selling individually..I mean, buffy seasons you can get around 40 bucks and it's 22 episodes your getting..here, you get 4 episodes for like 40 bucks? talk about inflation..lol...BTW, Mutant X has been signed for a 4th season! paying a hefty price for season 1 i can live with, but really hope seasons 2 thru 4 will be better on the wallet...otherwise, i just may skip out buying them...

When I first saw this show I was VERY dissapointed. This is X-Men all over again. Don't get me wrong I love X-men but this is a complete rip off. It would be cool to have a show about mutants but a group of mutants trying to stop evil mutants with a do gooder that has telekinetic powers and a mutant tracking machine thing? Sorry bud but that's been taken OVER 13 YEARS AGO EINSTIEN!!! So basicly Marvel should get their butts out of their big fat gobs of money and get ready to write a law suit!
