5.0 out of 5 stars Great band!
I just saw this band on Wednesday at the Warped Tour in Buffalo. Not only were they great, but they seemed like very friendly guys. I bought their CD yesterday, and after listening to it a few times, I can honestly say that this is one of the best CDs I've heard in a long time. Excellent vocals, smart lyrics, and a classic punk sound make "Mute Print" stand out in a sea...

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the most amazing punk cd since "Twisted By Design" by Strungout., October 1, 2005
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
To do this amazing cd justice, I'd have to write a page review with every synonym for incredible listed. But, I'll reduce it and say that if you are a fan of punk at all (no, I don't mean all the radio crap such as Yellowcard that's considered punk) then what the heck are you doing with this cd not in your collection. By it and I guarantee you that you won't by dissatisfied. And I've come to the conclusion that that one kid isn't a 9-year old, even if he/she is, what the heck is he/she doing listening to punk anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars A breath of fresh air amongst mall garbage, August 25, 2004
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
This cd is nothing short of amazing!!! Rippping punk guitars and old school Iron MaidEn esq riffs combine to provide the sound of a generation. Lyrically emotional and deep, fuled by gutteral vocals with tons of melody, these guys provide a breath of fresh air within a lacking punk scene. The only thing better then hearing the cd is to see them live so ge to it damn it. I gaurentee you will not be dissapointed!!!!! Nuno and the boys aim to please, and they succeed everytime!!!

dude, that kid up there's right. this album will CONSUME your life. I honestly don't think I'd like it any other way though. hot damn this stuff is good. I'm about to start stuttering because I don't know what to say. Go buy it. But not to let it simply add to your pile that is somehow directly proportional to your coolness, because you're not worth the greathness, the insanity, the beauty. Then again, I don't think I can tell somebody not to buy this album. Tough call. Goodluck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mute Print, June 12, 2005
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
In my mid teens I listened to modern punk stuff like NOFX and Lagwagon. Now in my twenties, my taste has moved more towards emo. Mute Print is the perfect bridge between the two. A Wilhelm Scream brings in the intensity and "f*ck the industry" attitude of modern punk bands, while also incorporating the amazing production and dark lyrics of emo, and throwing in something completely different. The main reason I moved away from punk was that it was all too overdone, no one ever brought anything original. This is what sets this band apart; all the energy is there, but the songwriting is much better than the majority of punk bands out there. Not only that, the guitarists are amazing. The guitarists can actually do more than just play the same 3 power chords. Fans of punk will like the intensity and the singer's voice, which resembles that of Strung Out and the like. Fans of emo will like the not punk-like production (meaning it's good) as well as sometimes dark and often relatable lyrics that thrive in our scene. Even fans of metal would appreciate the guitar work, even if they'll never admit it. All in all, everyone can find something to like about this band and this record.

5.0 out of 5 stars can anyone say amazing?, January 20, 2006
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
ok, time for me to stop being lazy. i've been a huge AWS fan for a long time and i've just now decided to write a review on Mute Print. It's so amazing. They blend punk and metal in a very listener friendly, head banging fashion. The lyrics are poetic and meaningful. The vocals are great, Nuno can switch from a shout to a melodic singing voice at the drop of a hat. the guitars are super intricate, double layered and amazing. the bass is impressively driving. the drums are perfect.

i saw these guys live in Cleveland a couple months ago and they are AMAZING live. the play with great energy and emotion. i talked to a couple of the guys after the show and they are down to earth and super cool.

YOU MUST BUY THIS ALBUM! for fans of punk, rock, or metal. whether you like Hot Water Music or Opeth you'll be grabbed my these guys. Also, pick up Ruiner because its actuatlly somehow better than this album. they have evolved greatly as a band.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm simply impressed!!!, October 30, 2005

This cd is awesome!! what a great blend of punk, emo and hc....!The guitarists are amazing, and make the songs very interesting cause of the alternation in the songs. The first song i heard from them was `Anchor end` and i was speechless for a while...the beginning, the fast drums, the voices.
All fits perfect together and seems to me very original! Hope they will go for a European tour once in their lifes....i'm waiting!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome cd., March 2, 2005
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
This cd was easily one of the best releases last year so i had to post a review. From beginning to end every song is catchy yet in your face and thats the best way to do it. The lyrics are insane, guitar work is insane, drums insane. the riff in stab.stab.stab will not leave your head believe me.

100/5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for the hardcore punk lovers and not only., November 25, 2007
This review is from: Mute Print (Audio CD)
Wonderful cd of hardcore punk that put a new life into this musical genre.
The music is awesome with a excellente technique behind songs that are never useless and empty.
The lyrics are deep and irriverent to demonstrate that the real hardcore/punk is not music for kids.

A Wilhelm Scream is an amazing band with absolutely mesmorizing powerful riffs and sick lyrics. I'm writing this review in an attempt to make up for the guy who gave this AMAZING album only 4 stars. If you like this cd pick up Audio Karate's Lady Melody, another sick album with great guitar work. Both Wilhelm and Karate are 5 star bands.
