I have two large dogs and have used Mutt Mitts for the past five years and can't do without them. My friends ask why I don't just use grocery bags. If you've ever tried to pick up poop with a grocery bag with a small hole in it, you understand why I use Mutt Mitts. The bags are heavy and easy to use and tie off.
The only negative comment is that I wish they made LARGE Mutt Mitts so I could use just one instead of two.

I've been a loyal customer for 3 years but this last batch showed me that the product is no longer the same it used to be and will be my last purchase. Mutt Mitts used to be a very unique product that justified its higher price vis a vis its competition. But now that it has become as flimsy as every dog poop pickup bag out there, you'd have to be a sucker to keep paying the high markup.
Companies seem to flaunt changes to their product line with statements like "new and improved" on the packaging. Mutt mitts opted to quietly sneak these thinner versions into to market without a word about the new changes. Bad form guys.

These are the best bags ever. I was using plastic bags from the grocery store before. I put my hand down this bag, pick up the poop, then turn the bag inside out. It couldn't be easier! There is also less smell with these bags than with plastic bags.

Mutt Mitts really are the best bags out there. They are 2 Ply where it counts and fully opaque.

I love mutt mitts. We were using plastic grocery store bags, and they totally stunk up our garbage can (and our garage, and the house whenever you opened the door into the garage, etc.).

So, we got some mutt mitts and love them. You can tie off the bag and the dog poo fragrance doesn't seem to escape.

Now my garage doesn't stink. Yay.

Oh, but, I should say that if you leave them around for like, more than a year (or if you leave them in a hot car for a summer), they'll start to biodegrade. And then you won't want to use them. So don't save them for special occasions. Use them when you get them.

These protect your hands better than plastic grocery bags and most other doggy bags. Definitely more pricey than most but well worth it if - like me - you get squeamish about pick up duty.

i love these dog bags, i've been searching for something that is eco friendly but can handle my dog's big poop. he's a shepherd mix so a lot of the other bags don't allow me to use just one bag to pick up his poop. i can use one bag when he poops even when he has his "poops from hell" as i call them b/c it's just so much i can't believe that came out of him. LOL

the price is excellent at my local pet stores 100 bags cost $20 and up so i couldn't pass up 200 bags for $30.

I have a guide dog, and the school where I trained with him used these bags. I wasn't sure I would continue using them, thinking I'd just use grocery bags. However it was apparent after a week home that grocery bagts did not fit the bill. They were too bulky and if you don't see a hole in them, that can be rather messy. So I ordered two boxes of the Mutt Mitts from Amazon. The box is perfect for keeping on the counter by the door for easy grabbing. The box is it's own dispenser and it's easy to open. I never leave the house without one in my pocket. Since my dog goes into public, I carry a few in my pack as well as one in my pocket. They fold up neatly for a back pocket of a pair of jeans.

They completely protect the hand from getting dirty and unlike shopping bags, they are easy to tell your hand is in them when you can't see. The waste area billows out a bit for easy pick up and there's enough room to twist the bag and tie it for easy disposal.

The biodegradability is a huge plus also. When I got on my second box, I ordered another one right from my past orderes here. It's just too convenient for words! I don't have to work my guide dog in the pet store. ;)

I absolutely love Mutt Mitts and will not use any other type of dog poop bag! I have been using Mutt Mitts for my dog's walks in the city for 6 months now and consider them a daily necessity for germaphobes. Other poop bags widely available are made of thin, see-through material that tears easily; in addition, you can always smell the poop through that type of permeable cheap plastic, which means those particles are being emitted through the bag. Mutt Mitts are made with a thicker, degradable material that locks in odors and is easy to tie. The best feature is the heavy-duty black-and-white double layers reinforcing the end of the bag, which guarantee that your fingers never make contact with fecal waste. Mutt Mitts are especially helpful for cleaning up after the occasional softer or "runny" poop. They are an ingenious solution to the problem of smelly, permeable waste bags. A 200-count package at $[...] lasts me 2 months of 3x daily walks: at $15 a month, these high-quality bags provide great value.

What can I say? it's a poop bag & it works. I like the double sleeve at the bottom; it makes the job a little more civilized.
