5.0 out of 5 stars Great book on how to use Adobe Premiere Elelments., November 11, 2009
By
This review is from: The Muvipix.com Guide to Adobe Premiere Elements 8: (B&W version) The tools, and how to use them, to create great videos on your home computer (Paperback)
This book is a great companion to the newest version of Adobe Premiere Elements 8. The author Steve Grisetti , takes us on a guided tour of all the new features of the program and shows us how to use them.

But that is by far not all that the book has to offer. Steve explains all the different work spaces, tools, and effects available to the user. From starting a video project, capturing footage, editing and applying effects and transitions, adding narration and music to your video, and the different ways of outputting your video, you will find it all covered in detail in this book.
And if you still want more, there are suggestions on how to deal with possible problems you might encounter and other programs to use when Premiere Elements does not like your video footage.

You will find also solutions on how to optimize your computer for editing . There is even a list of all the handy keyboard shortcuts for Premiere Elements at the end of the book.
I highly recommend this book , it has been very helpful to me and I have used the program since version 1. I still learned something new and it especially helped me to find where all the tools are hiding in the new user interface.

But, I would like to point out, that someone unfamiliar with video editing might need some additional help and should check out the tutorials on the Muvipix web site to get started with the program.
